- Prepare fresh ingredients and menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Cook brunch and breakfast dishes accurately and efficiently during high-volume service
- Execute short-order items, including eggs and breakfast staples, with speed and consistency
- Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and temperature of all food items
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas
- Monitor food quality, rotate stock, and ensure freshness of ingredients
- Respond to guest feedback with professionalism and urgency
- Complete opening, side work, and closing duties to ensure the kitchen is prepared for service
- Uphold all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in accordance with Health Department and restaurant guidelines
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous experience as a cook in a high-volume breakfast or brunch kitchen preferred
- Must have or be able to obtain a California Food Handler Certificate
- Strong short-order cooking skills, including egg station experience
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High-energy, fast-paced brunch and bar environment
